Many of you probably have April 17th through 23rd blocked out on your calendars. For those of you who don’t, let us clue you in. It’s not spring break (although we wish it was)… it’s High Point Market. So, while many will be heading for the shores, we will be North Carolina-bound with truckloads of E2Y furniture and accessories. And we couldn’t be more excited about it!
After many long hours of dreaming and planning our space that we believe is quite show stopping, we thought it would only be fair to give you a sneak peek. The focal piece of our showroom is a mirrored antique boudoir from the 1700s. Stacy and Joe, the owners of E2Y, discovered the piece while on a buying trip in Europe and knew immediately after seeing the boudoir that they couldn’t pass it up. The wooden pieces were designed and crafted in France to resemble the ornate décor of Versailles. Once completed, the pieces were sent to an Italian villa near Lake Como, where they were built into the countess’s boudoir. The mirrored panels and intricate wood detailing are truly remarkable and totally worth stopping by to see.
