This Spring we celebrate the flower markets of Europe!

Our Euro Spring Market Candle embraces the abundant flower markets that pop up throughout the Provence Region of France most Spring mornings. Our favorite flower market is located in Aix-en-Provence and is set against the backdrop of the 17th century City Hall. This tiny square is a vivacious one, always bursting with a huge variety of seasonal flowers and freshly potted herbs.

On our last visit, there were so many flowers, it was difficult for us to choose the perfect one for a new Spring Flower Market Candle.  It turns out a bouquet of lavender was the foolproof choice and also the favorite son of Provençal flowers.  As a result, our etuHOME Spring Market Candle boasts this perfect scent which we paired with a bundle of freshly picked thyme to round out the floral notes. Fresh herbs, fresh flowers, it must be Spring! 

Want to savor your lavender bunch, here’s how to properly dry it:

1. Harvest the lavender just before full bloom.

2. Cut the matured purple flowers just above the leaves.

3. Gather into a bunch.

4. Tie the stems with twine.

5. Hang the bunch upside down in a dark place.

6. Dry for approximately 3 weeks.
